In the municipal area, some locations on steep slopes are at risk of significant damage during heavy rainfall events due to wild water runoff and flash floods with interaction of flood runoff.
In addition to hazard identification, the central components of the concept, which is based on the Bavarian ‘Guidelines for the development of concepts for municipal flash flood risk management’, include the definition of protection goals, the development of conceptual measures, the creation of an integrated strategy for municipal flash flood risk management and public relations work.
