In the upper head, a pressure segment gate with a filling shell serves as a closing element, for which a one-sided drive arranged above ground on the plane is planned. The closing element for the lower head will be a lock gate in bolt construction with integrated pressure segment gates for emptying the lock chamber. A drive is installed on each gate wing, with which two emptying gates are operated.
Five dam beam elements will be procured for the upper and lower head as chamber revision locks. One dam beam on the upper head is fitted with filling fittings. The setting and pulling of the dam beam elements is carried out with a pincer beam. Energy conversion and tensioning of the cable are carried out hydraulically.
