Thank you for your interest in working with us. The protection of your personal data is an important concern for us. We would like to explain below how we process your data when you apply for a job and which rights you have concerning those.

Who is responsible?

All personal data from your application and all attachments you provide in your application, in particular contact data as well as information on your CV, your job preferences and your profile, are processed by Tractebel Hydroprojekt GmbH, Rießnerstraße 18, 99427 Weimar, Germany as the responsible party. This is done for the purpose of carrying out the application process, in particular by evaluating, allocating and forwarding your application. The legal basis for this is Section 26 (1) of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Federal Data Protection Act) in the version applicable as of 25 May 2018 in conjunction with Art. 88 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - "GDPR").

To whom is the data disclosed?

If you apply for a specific job offer on our website, only Tractebel Hydroprojekt GmbH will receive your data. In addition, for certain technical processes of data processing, we use the support of external service providers who we select carefully and who meet high data protection and data security standards. Apart from that, we only pass on your personal data to third parties without your express consent if we are obliged to do so by law or by an official or court order.

How long will the data be stored?

After completion of the application process, your data will be stored for 6 months for the purpose of preserving evidence. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Afterwards, we will delete them from the system. If you would like to delete your application data before, you can of course request this at any time. To do so, please inform us via the following e-mail address: bewerbung-thp@tractebel.engie.com and your data will be deleted from the system promptly.

You have a right to information about the personal data stored by us and, if the respective legal requirements are met, a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection to processing.

You also have the right to receive the personal data you have provided in a structured, common and machine-readable format. This includes the right to transfer this data to another controller.
